The 2022 Ford Edge is available in five trims with new interior, exterior, and technological upgrades. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine provides 250 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque. It is available in the SE, SEL and ST-Line, and Titanium models. The ST trim uses a 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 engine that produces 335 horsepower and 380 pounds-feet of torque. All-wheel drive comes standard on all of the 2022 Edge trim levels.
New Features for the 2022 Ford Edge Model Year
The Black Appearance package can be added to entry-level SE trims. You get 19-inch black wheels with a variety of black accents. Optional Adventure packages are available for the SEL trim. They include 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, faux leather upholstery, gray and black exterior accents, and 18-inch wheels. Dealers added several accessories to the spec sheet, including a console-mounted safe. The color palette now includes Flight Blue and Forged Green.
The 2022 Edge SEL has many additional features that justify the higher price. These include a leather-wrapped steering column, an auto-dimming back-view mirror, and a partially digital gauge display. Heated front seats, six-way power-adjustable passengers’ seats, LED fog lights, and heated front seats.
