What is the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor ?
The Bronco Raptor, which is based on the four-door Bronco, has extensive upgrades and modifications, including a powertrain, suspension, exterior, and an interior that’s designed for hardcore rock crawling and desert running. The massive flare covering, large axles, and rolling stock make it 9.8 inches wider than a standard Bronco.
The 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor Engine & Power
The Bronco Raptor features more power from a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine and a 10-speed manual transmission with intercooling air-induction systems that are engineered to withstand high-temperature desert conditions. The Bronco Raptor offers similar hardware as Ford’s F150 Raptor pickup, including long-travel suspension, 37-inch tires, and adaptive Fox Racing shocks. Ford has yet to provide a final power figure but says the target is more than 400 horsepower. The Bronco Raptor exhales through a dual exhaust system with active valves. These valves control the sound of the exhaust and can be selected by the driver to create four modes: Normal, Sport, Quiet, and Baja.
